We are going to take you inside Lao ITECC shopping mall, or the full name "Lao international Trade Exhibition and Convention Center".
ITECC is one of the three biggest shopping centers in Vientiane, Laos. The other two is the Morning Market (Talat Sao) and Vientiane Center shopping mall.
ITECC is opened daily from 10am through to 9pm, and it has 8 levels. Yep you heard right, 8 whopping levels of retail, make that 9 levels if we include the underground shops and supermarket.
ITECC provides air conditioning on every level so it feels cool inside the mall during hot days. On the top level is a cinema and there is a food court located on the underground level and way up on level 6. There's plenty of escalators and elevators (lifts) within Lao ITECC to move you to each level.
Vientiane, the nations capital, has a more modern face-lift these days with a couple of big shopping malls to compete with the Morning Market, which is still the most popular and oldest shopping mall in Vientiane, Laos.
