2016 has been a very busy year with making high quality ruby slippers and our work doesn't stop here.

You will see another exciting project in April involving an exact replica of the "Witch's Shoes" that Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio and director Steven Spielberg purchased for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The original ruby slippers are very expensive, but you can own a pair like that from us at a very affordable price.

We already have a pair of hand-sewn bows that we made recently. These are high quality and not easy to make because all the beads and stones are sewn and not glued. The rhinestones are vintage with rounded claw settings, unlike modern rhinestones with pointy claws. These are very hard to find and we are very fortunate to have them. The claw settings, the size and color of the stones matches the rhinestones on the original bows.

The bugles beads are also vintage, the only thing modern is the rectangular stones. These are custom-made high quality glass stones which match the originals so they are not available in stores. The large face cuts, "V" cuts on the side, pretty much everything is identical to the original rectangular stones.

We have a brand new, custom-made pair of shoes in Judy Garland's size 5B. The pretty shape of the shoes and long heels matches the "Witch's Shoes" ruby slippers.

The right insole contains a gold stamp that reads "Innes Shoe Co., Los Angeles, Pasadena, Hollywood". Both shoe reads "#7 Judy Garland". MGM made several pairs of ruby slippers for the movie, so they numbered each pair to avoid them getting mixed up, and to make it easy for the studio to find the pair of ruby slippers they want to use in a particular scene.

We are one of the "neatest" ruby slipper makers in the world and this pair will be no exception.

The craftmanship is unbelievable as we continue sewing on the right shoe of Judy Garland's ruby slippers.

We started sequining for the April project a couple of days early because we've got other commitments in the middle of April, so we're expecting this pair to be finished by then.

The right shoe of Judy Garland's ruby slippers is finished and it looks gorgeous. We're pretty sure many people wished they owned this pair of ruby slippers.

About 2,500 sequins are on the right shoe so that's a lot of sewing and it's never easy. There's still the same number of sequins to sew onto the left shoe so we have to be at our sharpest all the way through the project.

The left side of the left shoe is almost covered with sequins.

The ruby slippers is looking very beautiful, just like the young lady who wore them in The Wizard of Oz.
