The right shoe is finished, and the stitching work is fantastic. Hand stitching is the hardest form of ruby slipper making and we've put a lot of heart and soul into it to reach the halfway point.

Our ruby slippers were made to look like new in mint condition as they were for filming in 1938, and not the old condition today. Exactly like the originals, every sequin is hand-sewn onto a fabric overlay that is built in the shoe.

The sequins are solid red metallic which produces a nice shine, and experts with ruby slippers agree that these are the type of sequins used on the original ruby slippers.
