This is one of Judy Garland's base shoe for the ruby slippers in the construction stage I guess you could call it.
There's still lots of work ahead but it's looking stunning so far with the shiny red sequins. The sequins are sewn onto the built-in overlay with a regular straight needle without going through the actual shoes so it takes some skill.
Our ruby slippers is being created to look like new in 1939, or 1938 when the The Wizard of Oz started filming, so you're about to see a very high quality reproduction of a pair of ruby slippers that's in pristine condition and ready for Judy Garland as Dorothy to wear on the set.
