Alot of it I think goes back during the war.China back the Viet and Laos communist with alot of supply and support.They probably feel that you owes us kinda thing.
Beside i think with the most population in the world they wanna relocate some of their people.Look at Thailand , i belive 70% of them are Chinese.Don't hold me to it though.

You're right. Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba back Laos during Laos civil War.

In Thailand most ethnics Chinese live in Bangkok. About 70% around 7 million out of 11 million total population in Bangkok are Chinese or mixed. They control the wealth, economies, government and military. Most or all of the Thai prime minister mixed Chinese. It been like that for the past 200-300 year.

70% ? so larg population? I doubt it. But, I do have some thai friends whose grand grand parents lived in China. They think they are Thai, not Chinese. Russia, China, Vietnam, Lao, Cuba, we call each other brothers, Russia is the big bro. Now, we call each other comrade.

Most of the company is in Bangkok so many people surrounding provinces move there to look for work.
They say about 11 million people is living in Bangkok.

Bangkok is ethnics or mixed with Chinese.

In the past, some English and French dudes and dudettes drew lines, created land spaces and then stick certain numbers and certain types of folks into each land space.

I do not think it really matters if you are Thai, Chinese or Vietamese living in Laos because we (Asians) are linked to the past. However, all citizens and foreigners should abide to all laws and regulations and Lao government shoud be highly aggressive in enforcing them to arrive with a more orderly society known as the 1st world!
