The Wizard of Oz sweetheart, Judy Garland became used to hearing "Lights, Camera, Action," from morning till night due to her demanding work schedule at MGM.
If she wasn't in front of the cameras, then she was busy touring to promote her movies, or reading scripts for her next movie because in the old days it was normal for the studios to make a string of movies with short breaks. Being an actress for Judy Garland was constantly being bombarded by so much direction and coaching that it can be overwhelming.
