It's Red shirt Lao Isan political rally. He speak Lao and say they proud to be Lao. About 40% of 65 million Thailand population, around 26 million is Lao. But ethnic Lao population in Laos is less then 4 million.

Isan red shirt are standup for their right and democracy. At least they can protest and form political party. They're the biggest politcal party and hold the most seat in parliament. They'll win election again and run Thai government. As long as there no more military coup.

OK I am not familiar with Thai politics but there was something happened about a year or two ago when the Thai airport had to be shut down for awhile and the leader of Thailand had to resign. What was that all about?

It's kind of like American politics. A rich, big corporation Republican and working middle class, poor Democrat.

Yellow shirt is the middle class and rich in Bangkok who protest at the airport to overthrew elected Isan government. Red shirt are majority from Isan, peasant and poor but they also has supported in other part of the Thailand. Rich vs poor, red and yellow. In other word red shirt Lao in Isan against yellow shirt Jek in Bangkok. For more infor about Thai politics Bangkokpost.com.

Sounded like Tahiland needs to split into Red Shirt Lao Issan and Yellow Shit Jek Bangkok. Laos can have Lao Issan again and problem solved Wink

Any separation only mean civil war and live lost. Last time red shirt protest about 90 were killed and 40 building in Bangkok were burn down. Southern Thai Muslim want independent and they been fighting for about 7 year and over 5,000 death.

I only hope for peace and don't want to see any pi nong Isan lose their life. Thailand election is coming up in July. Whatever Red shirt Isan want to do its up to them.

Jek Bangkok control the economies, wealth and the army. While Isan is left out and treat like second class citizens. Monthly income for Bangkokian is around $700 a month while in Isan it's only $230. There's a wide gap between the rich and poor. Isan is the poorest and most populated region in Thailand. This is the root of the politicals problem, we are seeing right now between red shirt and yellow shirt protester.

WE ARE NOT LOSERS. We were displaced/misplaced by someone's past agenda. Yes we will learn from the past and move forward to a better future for everyone.
