I have been beating 6 eggs (not the 'yolk' but the 'white' part only) every morning for 10 years and my cholesterol level is normal.  The yolk is the part that you need to worry about Wink.

That many eggs each day isn't really good for you. There are other protein sources such as fish and meat.

I am 5'6" as well and currently weighs approximately 160lbs.  I used to weight up to 170lbs. when I was really massive and cut.  My friends called me the smaller version of 'The Rock' - the wrestler/actor Grin.

I have tried the 'whey protein' mix and it does not work for me because for some reason my stomach got bigger when I drink the mix for some apparent reason.  Also there's too much sugar in the mix and not good take in and you will be tired easily when you are working out.  So I stop and get protein only from egg whites, chicken breasts, beef, buffalo and fish and it seems to be working because I still have my 'washboard abs'  Roll Eyes.  I eat raw veggies mainly.  Also sticky rice is awesome because it makes you 'cut'.  Jasmine rice is useless so sticky rice is better.

How much do you weight? I'm 5'6" and weight 170 lb. I try to turn all those fat to muscle and stay heathy. Workout is also fun to do. I'm new to working out and started about a month ago. Personal trainer suggested that I take some powder protein and vitamin. I has take some before working out.

Diet is the key.

To build muscle mass it is suggested that that your minimum protein (gram) intake should be about 1X times your weight (lbs) daily.  For example, if your wieght is 150lbs. you need to take in 150 grams of protein a day.

True soda is not good but I only drink soda with 'cane sugar' and not 'high fructose corn syrup'.  Cane sugar taste better and better for your body.

My diet consisted of 6 eggs (just the egg white part only), a banana and high quality granola bar with water every morning of the each day.  I would eventually eat over 2,000 eggs per year if the estimate is correct Grin.

You must be keeping many eggs at home, and that's a lot of food intake every day.

You won't be blessed with so much food at your fingertips if you decide to go back to live a jungle lifestyle in Laos.

I though you're taller and weigh more. From looking at the picture. I'm starting to take protein but every other day. Some people take them every day. it'll turn to fat if you don't work out hard. Food is the best protein sources.

Bro, you eat meat everyday? You take whey protein mix every other day? From my personal experience, whey protein mix does not stay in your body long enough and you will be pissing out from your body because it's liquid.  Best to do if you are trying to gain muscle mass is eat red meat (beef) or any meat rich in Iron like liver.  I usually put in about 200 grams of protein a day.

One egg is about 6-8 grams of protein.

Maximum for me was 225 lbs up to 6 repititions.  However I prefer 155lbs only with a good high quality 10-15 repititions.

I usually pump 90kg for 12-15 repititions at a time. I'm going for the 'cut' look. I do about 6 sets with the bench on decline; then another 6 with the bench on incline to hit my upper chest. I workout my chest twice a week. Wink

How much do you guys squat?
