I understand your point of view William. Larb Dip does need to chill out. I also like the freedom of speech in Lao Pride, but it come with responsibility. This world would be so boring if everybody get along an so nice.

Honestly I don't (that's don't with a "D") expect the Admin to terminate Larb's account even if everyone member on the forum (minus 1) voted to have him removed. I believe she (or he) really enjoys the banter that they share.

It is sad really, I wish that he would cool it. I have lots of friends (not just on the computer) that are younger than I am, yet they don't talk like that. It wasn't allowed in my parents home and I didn't tolerate it in my home either.

I believe it gives this forum the wrong impression to potential members. I do respect freedom of speech, but there are limits to what I can tolerate. When I reach that limit I will be gone. The sad thing is Larb will probably still be here and still be posting the same vulgar posts.

These are the REASONS why I signed up with LP forum - to know more about Laos, to  discuss with others concerning Lao politics, to  talk about ideas/suggestions that may speed up the 'modernization' process going on in Laos.

Larb Dip was very knowlegable about Laos because of the obvious reason and wanted Laos and all people from Laos to be more prosperous just like everyone else in whatever shapes or forms in the upcoming future of the 'modernization' period in Laos.  To me, he had mentioned very valuables inputs/ideas/solutions in LP forum to do so.

Yes I agree he did 'cross over' from many of his comments, but his inputs/ideas outweight the 'cross over' comments.  Larb Dip talk to you in about a month Bro if you'd decided to take the 'sabbatical' still.

That's my input and I hope I am not the Devil's Advocate .
