(KPL) The Fujiwara Enterprise and the Dao Heuang Group last Thursday inked a 30-year land concession contract with authorities in Vientiane Capital to develop a 320 billion recreation service project for Vientiane residents.
The land concession is for the Mekong riverbank close to Chao Anouvong Park which is partly in Chanthaboury district and Sikhottabong district.
The new service centre, designed to operate twenty four hours a day, will have restaurants, leisure area where people will enjoy the Mekong view in the evening, souvenirs shop, beauty shops and information centre for visitors.
Under the agreement the contractors will also be in charge of maintaining the Chao Anouvong Park.
Signatories to the agreement were Head of Vientiane Planning and Investment Service, Mr. Visay Savanhna, and Chanthaboury Chief, Mr. Saythong Keodouangdy and Deputy Chief of Sikhottabong, Mr. Bounma Piengpanya and General Managing Director of the Dao Heuang Group, Mr. Sisouphon Sihalath, and General Manager of Fujiwara Enterprise, Mr. Bansa Sisouk. Relevant officials witnessed the signing.
