Lao Democratic, It takes time to learn how to use a computer. I don't have time, and they don't have time.

You have to learn how to use a keyboard, then learn how to browse the internet, understand what a website is, and so on. Many of my friends know nothing about these things, and like driving a car, you need to use computers regularly to get the hang of it.

I think Vientiane to Bangkok is about 6 hrs drive. You can ride railway when China finish building them. Might only took 3 hrs. People from Vientiane travel to Thailand all the time.

"They got Internet cafe in Vientiane." Don't they has computer training class? Probably take less then a week to learn the basics. In American at home, work or school they all got computer and internet access. So everybody know how to used them here. It's part of life and even a 5 year old kids know how to used them.

Agree with Lao Democratic on this.  A couple hours per week for one month should do it for anyone that have never touch a computer and use the internet before.  It's a matter of plannning on showing them the basic functionalities.
