Judy Garland was an absolute gem in her first movie. She sang "It's Love I'm After". Her beautiful and powerful singing voice caught the attention of top records label
Decca Records, and they did not hesitate to give her a contract.

"The Wizard of Oz" as Dorothy Gale and the Tin Man.
Although both stars had a contract to a different studio, 20th Century Fox had previously borrowed Judy Garland from MGM to perform in Pigskin Parade. This time around, MGM borrowed Jack Haley from 20th Century Fox to perform in
The Wizard of Oz.
