They already know everything about Laos. We are talking about CIA here they know. Laos was in Wikileak. It's say Singapore don't want Laos, Vietnam to join ASEAN. The point of ASEAN is to counter Communism. And after every ASEAN meeting Laos report the information to China.
Cool

There's always something for Wikileaks to talk about, we want to know what our secretive Lao Government is up to.

They have nothing to say about Laos because no one will give them the information like you said.

American, Democracy is not perfect, but it's the best system. In war there are collateral damage. I'm not denies what you are saying. I has not look through wiki leak. I don't have that's kind of patience going through thousand and thousand of document. Most of the time we do not know what the government, CIA is doing. We are just civilians.
Cool Shocked

There are freedom of press. There are rule of law. Government have to keep secret. Every country has propaganda and control the press. Sometime they only let you know what they want you to know.

Wikileak is confidential information and top secret. They has to block it and shut it down. It's national security issue. And affect American national interest. At least American have freedom unlike North Korea.
Roll Eyes

Making mistake of killing civilians is not a matter of national security denied the best medical after wounding 2 children is a crime also I call cover up. That why American never won any war since 2rd world war.

The point of ASEAN is abit of everything, but mainly for the countries in the region to cooperate with each other.

Regardless of what Singapore says, Laos deserves to be part of ASEAN because we are located in the same region (Southeast Asia). Singapore also has one major political party.

How can you call the the best! When only half of the citizens vote in the election. Sick people will get turn away by the hospital when they don't have health insurance. Looking at the crime statistic is shocking! check this out!

All of the U.S citizens have a right to votes or not votes. Majority win.

There's good and bad everywhere. American is not perfect, but I think is one of the best place to live. That's why million and million of people from around the world want to come here. U.S citizens has good living standard, jobs, opportunity, health care and education. In every country there're poor and misfortune, but most American are doing well.

For right now, I prefer socialist capitalist.  With this idealogy, everyone (especially the financially disadvantaged) gets to enhance their standard of living (better healthcare, housing and education opportunities).  Full blown capitalism/democracy can kick in after everyone's standard of living is equalized.

I don't mine socialist capitalist or democracy as long as they develope the country and improved people living standard like EU and China. But I still prefer democracy. If I have a choices. I like freedom, freedom of press, speech, religion and expression.

I think Socialist Capitalist like China will work in Laos. Favorite big corporation and business, but also take good care of the poor and peasants at the same time. China has lift 500 million people out of poverty. Laos only have 7 million we can do it too. Go Laos.

Maybe Wikileaks should focus their attention on Laos. That's right, they don't have the ability to access confidential information in Laos, or they are more afraid of the Lao Government.

I would be afraid of a firing squad. Stealing and publishing corrupt dealings with the US Government is one thing. Doing it with the Lao Government sounds like suicide.

Lao people can't even hold peaceful protest like Lao red shirt Isan in Thailand. They say don't get involved in politics in Laos.
