Everybody need, and want a car if they can afford it. Motorbike is affordable, but can be dangerous.

You make a good point. Bussiness need transportation. If Laos become a democracy country, and Lao people make $10,000 a year instead of $2,200. People will buy everything, car, house, motorbike, open business and so on. I hope Lao government can make Laos wealthy, and developed like Singapore

GDP in America is $46,000 a year. Out of 500,000 Lao people that live here about 95% own a car. And I see lot of Lao people drive a nice expensive car BMW, Lexus, Bens, Honda, toyota. 

Vietnam is a good friends and allies. Maybe they can give us Lao people $10,000 each.

She is giving it a go. She can probably represent the Lao-American population at best, because she is still considered an outsider or "Lao nork".

And yes, Laos is a country but not an ethnic group.
