I don't see any problems of wanting to marry someone that comes from a certain race. That's why people visit a certain country or niche site to search for their soulmate.

Remember, we all have different priorities when it comes to choosing a partner. They could base their decision on race, religion, wealth, looks, profession etc.

They are all valid points here, i hadn't looked at it from those perspectives, i wrote the post that i wanted to marry a Laos lady, i now understand other opinions but my objective was not so much a mail order bride, but i would love to meet someone that wasn't a working girl, bar girl or gold digger, am i asking too much ? I don't know. The reason i wanted to marry a Lao girl was not to take her back to my home country as a trophy but maybe to settle down in Lao have a family and contribute in any way i can to the society, i don't agree with people who deliberately look for women from these countries to use as sex toys as such, they deserve all they get. Unlike some people i have met i am genuine, financially well off and i'm not about to rape anyone or mal-treat anyone either so what category do i fit in? Maybe someone can guide me as i need all the help i can get. thank you.

There are 49 different ethnicity in Laos. What Admins trying is to say is ethnics Hmong and ethnics Lao is not the same. But we're Laotian, Laos. Young Hmong-American do not consider themselves Lao.
