Thai uniform is too short and sexy. That's why many Thai student are rape. I'm conservative kind of guy. I like Lao student uniform. It doesn't show too much skin.

Please keep Lao culture, tradition going and don't be like Thai. I like Thai economy and modernization but not the drug, sex, crimes and prostitution.

Same as here in the US some new Lao generation are too Americanize and try to be too black and hip hop culture. I was like that when I was younger growing up in America, but now I'm going back to Lao root and tradition, Lao food, music and culture. I can understand why young kids in Laos want to be like Thai, Korean or Japanese. Those country are wealthier and developed. Nobody want to be poor.

Yes is depend on where you grow up. What I notice is that Lao American are very proud to be Lao, even some that born in America, and never been to Laos yet. They has Laos flag sticker in their car bumper, Laos flag in their house and tattoo.

Many Lao oversea are buying land and property in Laos. They plan to move back and open business. Lao government also make it easier for expat to move back.

Yes money talk. More expat are starting to move back. Its easy everywhere when you're rich. In US cost of living is high, but there are more jobs and opportunity. But right now its a little tough because of economic recession, and its hard to find good paying jobs too. If you don't have money here you're in really big trouble. In Laos if you have house and land all pay for. Then you has less bill and less thing to worry about.

Yes it feel great when you pay off something. In the US you can do payment as long as you have good jobs and good credit. Because most don't have $200,000 cash or $25,000 to pay for house or car. House is 30 yrs payment, new car is 5 yrs. But that what keep economy going. People keep spending and buying.
