To me the flag represent the past and present. I love Laos and Laos great history. War been over for 35 year. I want to see our people, government united, move forward, and help build the country. I want to see peace and prosperity in Laos.

I'm a new generation. I have not experience Laos civil war and conflict. Many Lao-American wear 3 head elephant flag t-shirt and current flag. I'm not a refugee like Larb Dip said. I left Laos at age 11. I does not have any bad memory about Laos.
