Vientiane Center is part of the "Big 3" large shopping malls in Vientiane, Laos. The other two popular malls is the Morning Market (Talat Sao) and Lao ITECC.
Vientiane Center is a nice air-conditioned, four-storey shopping center targeted towards the younger generation. It has a cinema, restaurants, department store, barber shop and tenpin bowling just to name some of the things you will find in here, but the the highlight of shopping mall is the tenpin bowling center and cinema complex.
Items are usually expensive here because of the high costs of rent and air conditioning. Vientiane Center is opened every day between 10:00am to 9:00pm, as do Lao ITECC. The Morning Market begins to close trading at around four-ish.
Of the "Big 3" shopping centers in Vientiane, I like the Morning Market the most because it is the oldest and best-known shopping center in the capital city.
