We're beginning our first pair of ruby slippers for 2016.

This is a pair of bows that we will use on Judy Garland's ruby slippers.

We've created the bows to look like new, in the same condition as they were in The Wizard of Oz movie. The shape resembles the original bows and all the stones and beads have been individually sewn tightly onto a red silk fabric overlay attached to thin leather.

The rhinestones are vintage. The claw settings are rounded, antique style like those on the originals. The bugle beads are also vintage, and the rectangular stones have been created to match the originals. The perfect size face cuts and "V" cuts on the sides of the high quality glass rectangular stones matches the originals, so our bows are authentic as they come.

This is a pair of custom-made shoes that will be covered in sequins through the painstaking and time-consuming method of sewing by hand. The shoes is in American size 5B, with long heels and arch shank that matches the best pair of ruby slippers Judy Garland as Dorothy wore in the The Wizard of Oz. Other known pairs had shorter heels.

Shoe trends have changed since 80 years ago. Our shoes has all the elements of a 1930's style dance or wedding shoes. If the shape of the base shoes looks perfect like this pair then it goes a long way in helping the ruby slippers look beautiful and authentic.

We've painted the soles glossy red. Usually two or three coats of paint is enough on the sole of a shoe, but we are never stingy with paint and like to put five coats for the extra red shine.

The right shoes contains a gold stamped label of the Innes Shoe Company in Los Angeles, and "#7 Judy Garland" has been written on top of both shoe.

Our job with the base shoes is finished, now we need to spend a lot of time sequining them.

The right shoe is looking stunning with one side of the shoe nearly covered with sequins. Every sequin is sewn onto the shoe with a straight needle so it's never easy.

The neatness, the firmness and the nice overlap of the sequins similar to a fish scale or roof tile pattern is what people find our ruby slippers appealing.

We have finished sequining the right shoe and it looks incredible, it really does. Meditation and focusing on sewing 2,300 odd sequins is the way to get the job done.

A customer has already reserved this beautiful pair of ruby slippers.

The left and right shoe come together again. We're just lost for words at how beautiful the ruby slippers is looking as our work continues with the left shoe.

It's a very time-consuming job but we are on track to finish the left shoe towards the end of January and have this pair of ruby slippers sent to their new home.

The red shine is starting to appear on this gorgeous pair of ruby slippers, as we head towards the finish line with our first project in 2016.

This pair of ruby slippers is a replica of the "Witch's Shoes" which is the exact shape of the pair seen on the feet of the Wicked Witch of the East after Dorothy's house falls on top of her.

They are also one of the best pairs Judy Garland as Dorothy wore in the movie.
