We are taking a break with the shoes and making some high quality bows that we plan to use on Judy Garland's ruby slippers.

Lao silk is used as the overlay. This is the type of fabric they make traditional shirts in Laos and is more expensive than the standard fabric.

The little red stones with the rounded claw settings are rhinestones identical to the originals, and the high quality glass rectangular stones have been hand cut to match the originals so they are not available at any bead stores.

Everything is hand-sewn and we still need to sew the bugle beads, so making bows of this caliber takes a lot of time and work.

The bows are finished and they look beautiful.

We always keep the length of our bows to around 2 inches, which is just over 5cm. That matches the original bows.

We have a lot of custom-made shoes in Judy Garland's size to work on this season, so it's going to be a very busy year with ruby slipper making.

Lots of hard work, and lots of meditation to get them done. Below is a picture of the base shoes that is next up, and a couple of pictures of Judy Garland's ruby slippers that we have proudly made.

We have six sexy pairs of mid heel pumps that will be turned into high quality ruby slippers for Judy Garland, and there's more coming in a couple of months, so there's obviously a HUGE amount of repetitive work ahead of us as we prepare to unleash our full potential in fashion design.

These are not your ordinary shoes which can be found at a shoe shop. They are all custom made to the exact shape and size as worn by Judy Garland as Dorothy in 1939's The Wizard of Oz, so our replica ruby slippers are as accurate as you can get to the originals.

"#7 Judy Garland" is written on the top of both shoe with a black fountain pen, and we've got a gold stamp on the right shoe like the originals reading "Innes Shoe Co., Los Angeles, Hollywood, Pasadena".

So let's get the ball rolling by sewing the sequins onto the shoes.

Some photos to update the progress of our ruby slipper making project. This shoe is looking absolutely gorgeous as the sequins slowly begin to cover all around it.

This pair has a long and thin heels which matches the originals worn by Judy Garland as Dorothy in the Munchkinland scenes in the movie.

A company in "Amerigah" has reserved this pair of ruby slippers for a substantial amount of money, so that gives us an extra incentive to make them extra beautiful for them.

Indescribable beauty. The right shoe of Judy Garland's ruby slippers is finished, and the sequins now cover the entire shoe using the same technique to represent the original ruby slippers made for The Wizard of Oz.

This project is still half way, as work now begins on the left shoe. This is probably our company's one millionth pair of ruby slippers so experience is on our side, and we always strive for perfection.

Sewing has commenced on the left shoe. This will be a masterpiece. Making high quality ruby slippers is not an easy task, and requires an immense amount of focus and concentration.

The ruby slippers might look big in the photos due to the closeup shots, but they are actually quite smallish in real life to fit Judy Garland as Dorothy's teeny feet.

We are within days of finishing up an absolutely gorgeous pair of ruby slippers.

It's easier to look, than constructing the most iconic movie memorabilia. Lots of red thread underneath all those sequins. The task is hard and challenging because you're sewing by hand with a regular straight needle on a three-dimensional shape of a shoe, and not on a flat surface of a fabric.

An exact recreation of the ruby slippers as worn by Judy Garland as Dorothy is finished.

This is a gem of a job and feeling very proud of what we have accomplished. It's never easy to make hand-sewn ruby slippers, your heart has to be in it because it's the most tedious and repetitive of tasks you can do.

Another beautiful and expensive pair of ruby slippers that is off to their new home in the United States of America in March and we will personally deliver them.
