As we prepare to take on a big task of making another hand-sewn pair of ruby slippers, we have two stunning pairs of ruby slippers looking for a new home and this is the only time they will be photographed together.

One last look at these incredibly beautiful ruby slipper bows before we shift our attention to other areas of this project.
All of the stones and beads have been stitched onto a silk fabric and bow-shaped leather overlay with a red thread. This pair of bows has been created to look brand new, like they were in 1938. You just have to admire their beauty, and the talents of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer fashion designers involved in The Wizard of Oz to put together this extraordinary piece as part of the ruby slippers. The sequins we will be using is red, with a metallic shine when placed in the sun, or lots of lighting like they had in The Wizard of Oz. The sequins can appear dark red or maroonish to the eyes in low light conditions.
These will be sewn directly onto the shoes with a bit of overlap like roof tiles and fish scales, so to speak. We'll need around 5,000 sequins in order to accomplish the difficult task of making a pair of ruby slippers. Alrighty, the bows are done so let's get down to business. This is the fabric covered base shoes that we will be using to build Judy Garland's ruby slippers.
You won't find them anywhere except through us. They are a custom-made size 5B shoes, the exact size and shape that Judy Garland as Dorothy wore when Glinda the Good Witch of the North gives her the ruby slippers. Judy Garland as Dorothy wore many different pairs of ruby slippers during filming, but the best pair she wore had a slimmer and sexier appearance with higher heels than other pairs. We are at the halfway point with Judy Garland's ruby slippers. Work is finished with right shoe and it's now sewing time on the left shoe.

Judy Garland's ruby slippers is looking absolutely gorgeous as we approach the end of the project. Notice the red metallic shine and the stitching looks very neat.

Judy Garland's stunning ruby slippers is finished with a vintage label on the right shoe reading "Innes Shoe Co., Los Angeles, Hollywood, Pasadena," and written on both shoe with an olden day fountain pen reading "#7 Judy Garland". This pair is very impressive and we're happy with the result.
