I know alot of folks been saying they want nothing but pure
Laotian in Laos. But why not allow other type of peoples in
the country and help develope  it . America are all made up
of immigrant.I see alot of people posting on utube how they
don't want the viet or chinese in the country.Heck not like
people there doing anything now. what ya think ?

I think Laos is still a country that still would have its culture, if it was full of immigrants lets see what would happen. Society would probably change and it would probably end up like Thailand. Well that's in my opinion things can be made in Laos from Lao people.

Change is not always a good thing. Change can be good or bad. A lot of the Vietnamese in Laos are bringing businesses but also many Vietnamese countries cut down the forests after they get concessions, etc.

Chinese are also mass distributing their products and the Lao companies can't compete. Some Lao people are afraid their country will become an economic vassal of China etc.

I believe the immigrants should be kept out of Laos. You want to visit, then fine. But to come and do business, no, stay out.

Point taken.But keeping people out to me not gonna help
any.I want people to stay and create business .That's just

According to some rumors I heard, many foreign investors have already come to Laos but they left after seeing the work habits of the locals. They were afraid they wouldn't get their moneys worth due to the laid back and carefree nature (lazy) of Lao people.

Right now the Vietnamese and Chinese are taking over economically. So allowing them in would only make Lao people poor in their own country and Laos would be dominated by Chinese and Vietnamese.

Some day in future, Chinese will be spoken in Vientiene? ;D
