Can someone please tell me why is the Laos currency start
so high ? I mean the denomination .I can't count that high.
I heard of people go exchange money and they would have bag load of the kip.

It's because the Kip has very low value, so you get a lot of Kip for higher valued currencies. The kip won't get you far..

It remind me of a African country that was printing out $1 million bill. I just don't understand the logic behind it.Can you imagine carrying all that money .
