hey you guys , i was bored and decide to look up isan people on utube. Holy chit i understand everything they say. Then i went and look more .They are actually Lao people .This might be old news i guess.

I don't have access to utube. When I was in Khon Kaen Thailand, they told me that area called Issan area.

Tai Orathai is thai singer from the Issan region I think and I can understand her lyrics clearly because sounds like she is singing in my native tongue :D.  She's cute too, so that is a plus. ;D

Lao girls are romantic. Some are very pretty, my type.

Yes and only 55% of the 7 million of Laos population 3.5 million is ethnic Lao. The rest are ethnics minority. Like Hmong, Viet, Mein, Thai, Chinese, and so on.

That's how nature work big fish eat small fish. Laos have no chance against Vietnam or Thailand. Vietnam 90 million people. Thailand 65 million.  Laos only 7 million.

Laos lost before we were fighting among ourself and not uniting. Last time Lao united was king Fa Ngam and Laos become biggest empire in Southeast Asia.

Lao was helping Thai fight Lao. Lao was helping Vietnam fighting Lao. Stuff like that.

"Ngam" isn't pronounced as water.

It sounds a bit like "ngoom".

i would've spell water as nam.I don't think there is a proper
way of spelling it in english is there ?

It's pretty hard to spell his name in English.

His official name in English is "Fa Ngum", which sounds like "Fah Ngoom" when spoken in Lao.

Cost of living is also cheaper in Laos. I can retire and do non profits, charity work. There are many organization in Laos. :)

Man just to travel around the area.I mean cross over to Thai,Vietnam or Cambodia. I can't wait.

It is not cheap living in Vientiene.

It is good to run a law firm.  Charity won't save anyone.

Yes, there's everything in Laos.

I don't wear, or need reading glasses so I've never actually been into one.
