Sticking your hands or foot(using them as baits) into a hole along river bottoms and see what you can catch. I think this can be a highly thrilling experience to catch the giant catfish and/or whatever bites in the Mekong river!

Some Texans do but the acitivity is mainly done by Oklahoma hillbillies. The Red River (river separating Oklahoma and Texas) is the main river to 'noodle' for catfish because the river is shallow.

No worries.....sea monsters, venemous snakes, gators, piranhas and humans belong to one big family in this current terrestrial system that we are in they mean no harm to human.
If you are experiencing the worse case scenario during this fun-filled hillbilly activity then just go to the hospitial to be fixed up as you were before :D. |

Not all lakes and rivers have gators but you have to know your lakes and rivers to see what you may encounter. I think beavers and badgers are the main concerns in lakes and rivers up where you are at.
