Employees wearing their face masks at a currency exchange booth
in Laos look more like nurses than money handlers.

It's probably not that easy.

You have to know your maths, and have quick hand-eye coordination.

Just notes in Laos.

I think it's a bit over the top to wear masks for this type of job. There's a lot more air pollution and odor in the markets and nobody is wearing a mask.

Markets have no pollution because of open air condition. Sunlight kills virus.

Paper money goes around hands, contaminated.
Understandable with mask.

Well, they're not wearing gloves.

Obviously they don't think the money will contaminate their hands.
