If you build it they'll come. I think there'll be more tourist and investment in Laos. When basics infrastructure is improve.

I can't wait until they're completes. They already start working on some of these project. :)

It's on hold or something. The investors from Singapore or Malaysia run out of money. The builder, investors that will build new Laos is city is Lao/China company. I believe.

Laos plans to build a new city with an area of 1600 Ha. Turn a lake into shopping mall and villa city.

Another 800 ha is 18 Km from capital center, close to national stadium and new train station.

A win-win situation between Laos and China

No investment from Lao, Chinese will build a Stadium worth of 80 million $ for 25 Games, Free.

Lao will offer 1000 ha for Sino-Lao Venture to build New City based on Turn-Key Project mold. Lao has 5% stake

I think there are more investors in this project. I just dont know why it wants to have the new mega city?

It is like MBK area in Bangkok.

Thank for the information. I love to see more of this mind of project. There is also development project, economic zone in Savannakhet. :)

Catching up with the other ASEAN country. When Vientiane look modernize like Bangkok or Singapore they'll be more tourist = $$$$ in Laos. :)

Maybe Chinese developer should take over this project too. They get thing done fast.

The Chinamen are investing in all continents currently and even in Africa. Chinamen in Africa does not sound right to me :D.

Yes sir they're investing in Middle East, Latin America, Africa. Not just in Laos. Money talk :)

Yep..I had the opportunity to go to Lagos, Nigeria and right next to the airport were few businesses owned by Chinamen. Since Laos is next door...hey why not.

Yes, my friend went there for construction of water pipe for rice field, eventually, ended with hog raising, settled down there with a black pearl. ;)
