You mean he used to be in charge of the Thai Government.
He is well known for his corruption. Who knows, maybe the real reason he is visiting Laos is because he is up to something fishy. |

Thaksin could be visiting Laos for financial gain, whether it's business matters or corruption, who really knows?
Reminds me of Tiger Woods, he will only visit a country to play in their tournament if they pay him an appearance fee. |

Most politicians, particularly in Asia and Africa are corrupt. They care about their business more than the economy. What makes Thaksin Shinawatra different though is that he was convicted of corruption by the court and he escaped Thailand. |

At least Pol Col Thaksin policy help the poor, and Isan.
That's why we need democracy to votes out these crooks and dictators. They need to be send to Singapore to learn about corruption like some Chinese politicians. In China government execute corrupt officials. |

His job as Prime Minister was to help the country as a whole, and not play favourites with the poor and the Issan region.
China is a one party system, many high officials are still corrupt. |

Isan is the most populated and poorest region in Thailand, and needed help.
One party sytem is alway more corrupted. "Absolute power corrupt." Sigapore is also one party system, but they're not. |
