Some say 100 thousands, which I think is more accurate.  Some say 1-2 million? What kind of work they do in Lao?  There aren't that many jobs for them to do.

yeah I don't think there are that many of them... From those Viet labours that live in Lao, not government officials, they say there are very few thousand of them, for example, there are only 6000 of them in the three southern most provinces.

I think theres a lot around 100k-200,000. There's no data so we don't know for sure.

It would be interesting to know which kind of visa they need to legally work in Laos and for how long. According to what i have found the Vietnamese enjoys a 30 days free visa for Laos.

30 day free visa bad idea. That mean many will come and over stay their Visa. What a bad policy I don't mind if they had that policy for Thai Isan >:(
