Hi Admin,

Myself and another friend will be visiting Vientiane coming Jan, we would like to meet up some new friends and show us around the city, or at least give us some guide where to eat good food, places to visit....thanks in advances..

Our sister website, Vientiane Life has helpful information about some attractions in Vientiane.

As for meeting new friends, I suggest using the popular social networking websites because that's where the locals hang out. Lao Pride is only an information website about Laos and Judy Garland.

If you travel along the Mekong Riverside, that's where most tourists hang out, and there are many basic restaurants with nice foods.
