Judy Garland was one of the biggest movie stars in the cinema industry.
The brunette beauty made headlines at the age of 17, winning a special Academy Award in 1940 for the most outstanding performance by a juvenile, particularly for her role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (1939).
