When there's no place to run, and no place to hide,
you have to resort to drinking in the middle of the flood waters.

No it didn't, but other rivers in certain parts of the north and south of Laos experienced some flooding.

Vientiane wasn't affected last year.

Nothing can stand in the way of Lao people and their BeerLao! Thai people evacuate and build damns, Lao people have a pool party! Keeps the beer cold and if you have to go, well, you don't even have to leave the table, haha!
