The most Hmong population live in the northern highland areas of Laos. However, Vientiane city and the outskirts are seeing an increase in the number of Hmong residents over the years.

There's 49 different ethnic minority groups in Laos. Good idea to resettle and assimilated Hmong-Lao into Laos culture.

We tend to refer to most ethnic minorities as "hmong". Simply because there's around 50 different ethnic minorities in Laos, and they're closely related to the hmongs.

Sorry I just thought that I would joke about that. Do all of us farangs look alike to most Asians? I hope so, I don't like standing out in a crowd. I'm sure that I will blend right in when I am walking down the street in 29 days, dressed as a Lao Prince. HAHAHA I probably won't even turn a local head. Right?

I am excited and scared to death at the same time.
