Where is Saolili? Is there a picture?

Lili, 21, is my young sister, but not biological, we just call each other sis.

Sometimes she will help monitor the forum when I'm busy but her involvement in actual discussions are limited. If I get run over by a bus, they may make her the new admin.

They have plan B in place.   :)

Why aren't there more active pusao on here?

Perhaps your 'sis' can become a regular member like us. :)

I think they are too busy working, studying, many locals also lack English and computing skills.

Don't need to be expert in English to join LP forum. Sometime we can figure out what they trying to say. You should ask your friends in Laos to join LP forum Admins?

I'm afraid my local friends don't know how to use computers, let alone the internet.

Most of them work at the markets and in hospitality.

Here is my theory.  All the pictures of the beautiful Lao girsl she had posted, Lili is in there somewhere.  Isn't it Admin?  For us, it is just a game to play along with Admin's game and I think it is perfectly fine ;).

I think you're right. One of those picture was probably Saolili and Admins. Its a mystery.

Lao Democratic, It takes time to learn how to use a computer. I don't have time, and they don't have time.

You have to learn how to use a keyboard, then learn how to browse the internet, understand what a website is, and so on. Many of my friends know nothing about these things, and like driving a car, you need to use computers regularly to get the hang of it.

I think Vientiane to Bangkok is about 6 hrs drive. You can ride railway when China finish building them. Might only took 3 hrs. People from Vientiane travel to Thailand all the time.

In American at home, work or school they all got computer and internet access. So everybody know how to used them here. It's part of life and even a 5 year old kids know how to used them.

Agree with Lao Democratic on this.  A couple hours per week for one month should do it for anyone that have never touch a computer and use the internet before.  It's a matter of plannning on showing them the basic functionalities.
