I found a link on the Promulgation of the Family Law in Laos. The PDF is dates from December 24, 1990, but I bet most of it is still valid.

I hope this information is helpful to anyone planing on "tying the knot" soon with a beautiful Lao woman. Sokdee.

I am looking to move to Lao soon but is there different laws for family law? I am already married but I do not want to ruin anything. Just curious but can anyone help?
