(KPL) Brigadier General Sisophone Bangongsengdad, Head of the Ministry of National Defence�s Office received on 14 March at his office in Vientiane a courtesy visit of Ms. Ann Mills Griffiths, Executive Director of USA National League of POW/MIA Families.

The delegation arrived here on 12 March for five days working visit to Laos.

At the talk, Brigadier General Sisophone Bangongsengdad praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of Ms. Ann Mills Griffiths and her delegation as a big contribution to further strengthening the friendship relation and co-operation between Laos and USA.

On this occasion, Ms. Ann Mills Griffiths expressed thanks to Brigadier General Sisophone Bangongsengdad for his warm welcome and confirmed that she would do her utmost to further enhancing the friendship relation and co-operation between USA and Laos.

God Bless again and hopefully it will speed up the dual-citizenship capability for all Laotian overseas to obtain both Laos and current country ciztenship if willing to for those that were born in Laos and become citizenship somwhere else, if wanted to.

Agreed. If possible I want Lao citizenship, and kept my US citizenship. Dual citizenship mean more tourist and Lao expats open business, investing in Laos a win win situation for everybody. What do you think LPDR?

Get all your paperwork ready now because dual citizenship is a must. The Lao PDR knows it too.

I hope they have it soon. I want to retire in Laos. LPDR know about it, they also read and monitor this websites. Now they know how some of us expats feel so speak your mind. Commies are intelligent but just had different mindset and idea.

I don't know but she is pro-LPDR, pro-Viet. She's a new Lao generation. Lao population don't have a say or much choices in politics.

Doesn't really matter about poltical view. Not much we can do. Laos is a peaceful country and moving forward.

Maybe Admin is Pro-Chinese.  What paperwork do I can get ready if it happen?  I do not have proof of birth certificate for Laos because I was born in the country side in a bamboo hut and no record.

Some Lao government are pro-Chinese some are pro-Vietnam and China, Vietnam hate each other.
