Just wanted to know: when Laos still had it's 3 different entities, which provinces were affiliated with which kingdoms? If someone could upload a map with the official border-lines, then that would be better?

What I really wanted to know was: waht about the other provinces?
Khammuan, what kingdom were they with? And Savannahkhet? etc....

You can check out some YouTube VDO about Lan Xang. The 3 kingdom were north, central and South. Divide Laos into three section from top to bottom.

Before 1975 they teach about Lan Xang history in school. Now they teach Marxis Lenin propaganda. I remember as a kids going to elementary school in Laos they teach us propaganda to hate imperial dictator America for bombing Laos. I don't know about now though. That was in the 80's.

@ LoveLaos: I too loath what our country did to beautiful Laos and it's people, and what our UXO's are still doing today. If I had the funds to pay for the removal of all those bombies and other munitions I would do it in a second. I swear that is true.

I pray that one day I may be able to make a difference in Laos. Please believe my sincerity.

When you are kids you believe whatever the elder tell you, but as we grow older we know more, and know the truth. U.S has been funding removing UXO from Laos. They bomb Laos to stop Viet Cong from invading our country, and to bring Democracy. I understand there are collateral damage in war. I hold no grudge against the US government.  Now US, Lao and Vietnam government has good relation.
