She is a big stars I didn't know she was fired by MGM.

Well, now you know.

It's a sad story about Judy Garland. She was the biggest asset for MGM, but in her 20's she started to become too difficult to work with, so they simply showed her the door. She wasn't that old, but her personal problems took a toll on her mentally and physically.

Now, that's not very nice.

The studio made Judy Garland become a superstar. Without them, she would be trying to make ends meet in vaudeville, or playing second fiddle to Shirley Temple at 20th Century Fox.

Not really. She had health problems which caused her to arrive late to work, and some days she didn't show up.

The studio thought enough was enough and she was shown the door. She worked too much over the years and she became very tired and that was a problem because she delayed filming. Sometimes she was so sick, the studio still forced her to work.

Perhaps the soup diet made Dorothy sick ::). Hell, I would be sick as hell if I only take in mainly liquid into my system.

The lack of proper food at a young age played a part. The studio and her mother wanted to keep their superstar singer-actress looking beautiful and in good shape, and overwork her to bring in the bucks.

I can understand their position, and I can also understand Judy Garland's position. Her sickness was inevitable in her later life because she grew up in this kind of environment.

I don't think she was a fan of fast foods and junk foods.
