34 year old Lao American here and went to visit home for the first time in 31 years. Felt like I was reunited with my lost family!

I had the pleasure of hanging out with others around my age and many describe the changes as a double edged sword where growth brought more opportunity but did more harm with loss of innocence and culture.

Is this true?

By the way this is a great site and I am happy to see Laos entering the world stage!

There are advantages and disadvantages of changes, depending on what they are, but if Laos is to progress then it's necessary to have some changes.
