Our beloved Judy Garland (June 10, 1922 - June 22, 1969) is a famous and respected American actress and singer as well as being an inspiration and important role model to others around the world. She has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for motion pictures and recordings.

Over her long career in the entertainment industry she won numerous awards, most notably an Academy Juvenile Award for her extraordinary performance in The Wizard of Oz (1939).

Yes, she is a world-class actress and singer, who is dearly missed.

Yes she is, and she is strong in singing and dancing as well, so she is a rare kind.

I like other American actors and actresses, but Judy Garland is number one.

It is nice to see your personal side Ms. Administrator. When I was young I had a crush on Judy, but I think she had already passed away as I was about 8 or 9 years old at the time.

Still she was quite a person, I know you agree. :)

I guess young boys have a crush on her, and young girls want to be in her shoes.

She was quite a person, a very talented person. You'd like her to live forever, but no one is immortal. Her legacy, however, will live forever.

Tom Hanks has to be my favourite living celebrity, but as talented as he is, no one is in the same class as Judy Garland.

Every time I see Judy sing "Over the rainbow" in "The Wizard of Oz" it sends chills through my entire body. Her voice is so magnificent, or should I say perfect in every way.

She sang her Oscar winning song with perfection, I've never heard of anybody say that she sang it poorly. It's a very touching song.

The studio cut that particular song out to shorten the movie, but thankfully they decided to put it back on.
