Don't you realize this is a creepy azz post? Like how desperate can you get? Do you think this is like a restaurant where you can just order it on the menu?

Sorry to say but these kinds of posts make me lose any respect for you people. Lao females are not mail order brides or objects to be obtained. If you had a daughter or sister, would you want me to creep her like this? Wanting to marry her just because she is of a certain race? Maybe you guys don't realize but these types of mentality not only degrade Lao women, they degrade women in general, and this is coming from a guy.

I don't see any problems of wanting to marry someone that comes from a certain race. That's why people visit a certain country or niche site to search for their soulmate.

Remember, we all have different priorities when it comes to choosing a partner. They could base their decision on race, religion, wealth, looks, profession etc.

There is nothing wrong to mail order a bride, both parties are willing, it's wrong if you don't treat your bride properly.
In 50'sand 70's you can mail order a bride from Japan.
In 60's and 70's you can get one from Singapore.
In 70's and 80's you can order from Hong Kong and Taiwan.
In 80's and 90's you can order from Thailand, Philippin.
In 90's and 00's you can order from Vietnam, China, Russia.
00's till now you can order from Cambodia, Laos, Eastern EU.

Maybe another decade down the track, Laos men can order from US and UK (with the mess they're creating, majority of people will be much poorer).

It's an economic fact that people looking for a better life, the easy way out (they think) is marry to someone in a better position, it's sad but we can't ignore the reality, many has succeed and found prosperity, manymore found themselves in a bigger and endless nightmare.

They are all valid points here, i hadn't looked at it from those perspectives, i wrote the post that i wanted to marry a Laos lady, i now understand other opinions but my objective was not so much a mail order bride, but i would love to meet someone that wasn't a working girl, bar girl or gold digger, am i asking too much ? I don't know. The reason i wanted to marry a Lao girl was not to take her back to my home country as a trophy but maybe to settle down in Lao have a family and contribute in any way i can to the society, i don't agree with people who deliberately look for women from these countries to use as sex toys as such, they deserve all they get. Unlike some people i have met i am genuine, financially well off and i'm not about to rape anyone or mal-treat anyone either so what category do i fit in? Maybe someone can guide me as i need all the help i can get. thank you.

If by "mail order bride" you are referring to petitioner sitting in the comfort of USA preparing paper work to marry a random beneficiary in foriegn country then you are WRONG.

There is no such thing as "mail order bride" nowadays in the United States since USCIS require a face-to-face meeting between the partners.

Yes that means anyone desiring to marry a Lao lady will have to actually go meet her. What a concept: getting to know a person in real life. Sounds about right and proper in my opinion.

There are 49 different ethnicity in Laos. What Admins trying is to say is ethnics Hmong and ethnics Lao is not the same. But we're Laotian, Laos. Young Hmong-American do not consider themselves Lao.

What Laos ethnics are you Tee? If you don't mine me asking. I left Laos at age 11 so I don't know everything about the motherland. I has Tai Dum friends he say he's Lao. Does Tai Dum or kah has their own culture and language.
