is this type of attire considered 'street clothes' in Laos? or are they just reserved for special ocassions?

I think it's hot if Lao girls dressed like this this often. Very alluring.

Larb Dip, The outfit is reserved for special occasions.

MrLao4ever, The ladies are wearing high heel shoes, and they are standing beside mostly old men. People shrink as they age so it doesn't give a fair indication of the height of guys in the ladies age range.

Someone - you perhaps - should bring that type of attire into style. If that becomes the latest casual trend, then WATCH OUT! I don't think I would be able to abstain from all the beautiful pusao! That dress is 'Hot HOT HOT!'

Yes, I like to wear something like that indoors.

As for the sinh, times have changed and it's usually worn for special occasions, or if you're studying and working in some jobs.

I could never concentrate with a pretty girl dressed like that. So she would have to wear a sinh. Even then it would be tough.

I like your style. But if you just wear inside then no used. You scare of getting dark when wearing it outside.

Misquotes is everywhere in Laos. People sleep in a net at night. Asian women don't like to be out in a sun. If they do they wear long sleeve.

I don't sleep in a net because there's no mosquitoes inside my place. If there are, they are killed with a repellent.

Laos is hot in humid. Your skin will get dark for being out in the sun. Not just Lao women ASEAN women don't like to be out in the sun. For us guy we don't mine we can be out hot or cold.

Keeping out of the sun all the time is also not good, because your skin needs some sun exposure for vitamin D.

I try to get at least 5-10 minutes of sun exposure on some days for healthy looking skin, but the guys in Laos don't seem to mind being out there all day.

I used to be dark when I was a kids. I play in the wood looking for animals and bird with my swing shot. And working on a rice fields. Those were the good old day.

In the U.S we stay inside most of the time. Working 8-10 hrs a day. Mon-Friday then go home, sleep and relaxed. Then do it again and again.

You have a typical childhood life for young boys in Laos.

I live by That Luang, but sometime me and my brother stay with our grandparent in the village. When you're kids you don't worry about anything just play and have fun. I had a good childhood and memory in Laos.

When I was 7-9 years old growing up in the jungle, killing neighbor's chicks with slingshots was fun ;D.

It definitely is NOT something you just 'know'. You didn't just wake up one morning and suddenly you 'knew' that sunshine is vital for a healthy looking complexion. Obviously you did some research.

Here's something I consider odd:

How in the hell did you become so privy in regards to Hugh Hefner and Victoria Beckham's particulars? I never came across any gossip magazines while I stayed in Laos. Do they broadcast the 'E' channel in Laos too? Or are YOU going out of YOUR way to find this stuff out? :-?
