It's almost that time of the year again, "Pi Mai Lao" (Lao New Year).
Stayed tuned in mid April for exclusive pictures direct from Vientiane, Laos.

DekLao, It's on the same three days every year (13th, 14th and 15th of April) but the party usually starts earlier and lasts longer than the three days because Lao people love having fun.

you're wrong!!!! i just got off the phone with a friend in laos... the dates are 14-16th.. you're starting little earlier.. perhaps you're not in laos after all.. hahahha bor hu kee mu kee mah yung mode ;D

Buk IIWJ, Most people in Laos begin their New Year celebrations in early April until late April, but the official start day of "throwing water" on people is on the 13th.
