Hey dude, I think I went to that barber shop to get my head shaved to become a monk. Oh wait, mine actually had a door at the entrance. Brings back memories though, keep posting!

Looks like the one I visited when I was a kid in VN, that's why I like Laos, remind me of the good old days, unspoiled and friendly.

It's write in big red letters   ::)

Don't need a luxurious place to cut your hair, this one is enough.

Get shaved and hair cutted, and let's chat to the internet office on the left side. :)

This is a typical but smaller barber shop in Laos. It's out in the open with no doors or windows, usually along the roadside so that it's clearly visible to motorists and passerbys.

The cost for a normal haircut in a Lao city is usually no more than US $1.50. Countryside areas cost about US 50 cents and sometimes the barber even goes over to your place to cut your hair. So as you can see, it's very cheap in Laos.

If you prefer to have a more luxury haircut indoors with windows and air conditioning, there is a place in Vientiane which cost about US $3.

They just need to clean up and paint it to make it look nicer and neat. In US it cost about $13 for haircut.
