Sounds very interesting.  I'll do some more research on this to come to  my conclusion.  Anyhow, I ask you please be careful on all these political issues.  We don't want the person responsible for this website to get in further trouble when issues get out of hand.  I know the Administrator is very open minded in so many ways, she's here to provide us information about our homeland we need to respect that. Let's tone it down for her please.  The best place to vent is in Youtube. :)  Here's the person you should go up against Sengoku17.  According to his stats he's 100% everything. Don't count on the Yanks, they never do anything that is no benifit to them, can't you guys learns from history (look at VN, Indonasia, Phillipin,Iraq,Saudi Arabia,Cuda lately Georgia etc...), it's better to forget the past and work together for the future, there is no commu anymore, change too quick just creat chaos, look at what happen to Russia in 90's, as long as thing get improving for the people, who cares, AS LONG AS THE CAT CATCHES MOUSE, sounds familiar.

I think they don't get enough of Lao yet. Land, Women, Gold, Tree and many Lao/Mhong lives that not enough until there no more pure Lao ppls or worse than that who know, only Tharvada know.  :-X

look i not saying that laos or any other country is stupid but you gotta be smart to hang with the yankees, first you must develop a relationship where they benefit as well as your self. in my opinion america only now help countries finish off their enemies. they are not going to start the battle for you, i think they learn with vietnam. america is not going to step foot into indochina unless the lao people rise up to their government and seek democracy. unlike vietnam, iraq war was base on unreliable intelligence but its people did not like saddama and saddam was killing tons of his people so unless 1) lao king or whatever is killing off millions of his people and 2) the laos people stand up to the goverment and 3)someone screams NUCLEAR BOMB! america is not going to go over there ever!

Yes I agreed Vietnam need to get out. There's about 75,000 Vietnamese troop station in Laos. War been over. Its time for them to get out and go back to Vietnam.

Another problem is Vietnam control Laos and Cambodia government. What can we do Vietnam is too powerful. Let just hope for the best, peace and prosperity for Laos.

Vietnam is just like the Bully to Laos and Cambodia. When you've riding with the tiger you just can't jump out that easier. You have to wait untill the tiger is death or been kill .

Sad......but there is nothing we can't do.  Just hang in there............

Laos is a peaceful, independence country. So Viet Cong military base is no longer needed in Laos. Stop dreaming Laos will never be part of Vietnam. Laos is for Lao, we've been around for thousand of year. Laos will be around for another thousand year.

In America. New generation of young Lao american and Viet don't get along, Hmong and Lao don't get along, Viet and Hmong don't get along, Lao and Thai get along, Lao and Khmer get along. Fighting each other at nightclub all the time. Plus every nationality have their own gang. Viet gang, Hmong, Lao, Khmer gang. Just letting you know how thing are in America. These are south Vietnamese not north.
