This would have attracted quite a few double-takes. Is the famous oval "LAO" sticker on the windshield? |

I don't know sorry, it's not my car. Some people like to stick them on, and some don't.

Where are they sold?
As soon as I checked out of the airport and crossed the road into the streets, I was overwhelmed by how excessively these stickers are circulated among vehicles in and around Vientiane. I really wanted to smuggle a few back to NZ, but I WASTED all my money on "pusao" and beer. (One "pusao" even wanted to hide in my suitcase). Man, I miss Laos!!! The best place in the whole-wide-world!!! When do you recommend holidaying in Laos? Are there any special "functions" coming up that "foreigners" might like to attend? |

The shops inside the Patuxay (Anousavali) monument should sell them.
There's always something going on, especially as the Lao New Year approaches. I recommend holidaying in the beer bars because the "poo sao" and beers seems to hold your interest. |

In regards to your "recomendations", I have already been-there-done-that. You can only visit them so many times without getting bored. The love-making isn't as "explosive" as it should be! The younger girls are too timid. Maybe I just need to try my hand at more "mature" women. Perhaps you can reccommend the best places to go "shopping" for women in the 30-40 year age bracket. THEY may be able to spice it up a bit! Does Vientiane have any kickboxing venues? How about pooltable bars? |

Yes, but I'm not into sports. Pool tables are also plentiful.
You mentioned in another thread that "3 months is long enough to get a feel for the country". In that case there's no need to ask me further questions about the country. |

I think you already know what I spent my time (and money) on in those three months. I was in my late teens then, and didn't really think as politically as I do now. No, I still need your help on a few things if you don't mind, PLEASE, "nang". You have already taken on the role of our (Laopride.com devotees) Lao correspondent. Pro-bono, too! Unless if you don't want to continue in that role, then thats your call. Now would be the time to say so "nang". 8-) |
