Motorbike accidents is a common sight on the busy roads of Vientiane as more and more people ride motorbikes than bicycles nowadays.

Maybe the accident has just occurred, and the police were on their way to the scene.

The crime scene looks deserted. It looks like a hit & run.

Not too long after getting my license I lowsided taking a corner too fast. I wasn't being cocky, just judged the turn/distance wrong. I also only had one contact lens in which I think messed with my depth perception.

Upper body was ok cuz I had a padded jacket on, but my right leg got pretty messed up because I was only wearing jeans. Couldn't run for about 4 months I think, maybe more.

It was a good lesson to learn from though :D

I never like motorcycle. Many of my friends have one. It's too fast for me, but Asian American kids love them.
;)
Friends new motorcycle

Most people in Laos would be in seventh heaven to have a motorbike like that.

You don't need to ride fast on a motorbike, but you feel much safer in a car because they have metal to protect you.

Three of my friends just bought one last month. They want me to get one, but motorcycle is not for me. My friends got this Suzuki for $6,800. Here they drove them fast in the highway. Couple year back police caught somebody going 150 mph on the highway.
;)

Hardly Davidson is nice too. I dont want to take a chance with any bike. One time I seen these guy doing front wheel up on the highway going about 90 mph.

Have you seen new motorcycle with 3 wheel? it look pretty koo and easy to drive.
