Vientiane is the biggest city in Laos, population wise.

The major university is the National University of Laos.

The area of the university is quite large. It looks like a university when seen in real life.

There is only one uni in Vientiane. I don't know about the uni's in other cities.

I'm sure it does.  The National University now has departments in all the major disciplines and mineral exploration/exploitation is huge here and needs expertise in Geology and Geophysics.

Thank you Old Man for the useful info.  It is extremely difficult to access the University website for some reason and I would be extremely interested to talk to someone in the department if they assist (ressearch or better tool advancement) in detecting UXOs. I am sure they do and very curious to know about because of my Geology/Geophysics background.

I see what you mean. If I was a younger, single man I too would have that problem. Lao women are by far the most enchanting women on the planet.

I remember when I attended school in Laos as age 6-7. I started to like girl already.

You the man 8-).  For me I like was into older woman-my english teacher in 4th grade (I was 10).  She would give us spelling bee contest every Friday and whoever wins gets a Snickers bar and gets to eat it during class in front of everyone.  So 90% of the time I always win because I had a big crush so hard so I will try to win no mattter what to impress her ::).

'Motivation' is the key to do your best on anything if you wanted so bad and leads you to success.  My lesson in life so far and you got a very good story too.  It is a good thing to think about and thrive for :).

Admin, no disrespect, but why would you post a picture of someone whom you think is deserving of, lets call it, an "attitude adjustment?"

Personally, I think that only children, who put themselves or others in danger need someone to raise their hand to them (not on the face, but the backside). Although disciplining your child now in the US can get you into hot water. I digress, so how does this picture have anything to do with University of Laos Pictures? I may post pictures of the University of Laos, and their students from time to time.

I was only joking about slapping her on the face, not serious. I know she is just having a bit of harmless fun.

I guess someone saw my funny side.

No worries Admins.  The pictures are very amusing to me.  We do need more laughs as often.  You should upload more pics like these  ;).

One thing that still alludes me is Lao humor. It took me a while to understand English humor. I will learn, I am sure.
